I brought the Volvo out to Louden this weekend. Suffice it to say, it did not go well. We ran test day all day. No problems. We started running the next day, and had to come in because we didn't have clutch. We bled it and bled it and didn't get it much better. We had it at one point where we could kill the engine with the brakes, but it wasn't ideal, the engine shuddered a lot. We got it running decently, and had a decent clutch action, and started the next day. I couldn't even get onto the track. The clutch was shuddering and I couldn't get power down. Good thing is the car can get pushed from the rear to get into a spot...

Ended up pulling the subframe in 2 hours, one edge of the clutch was completely worn away, either from brake fluid exposure, or the fact that we were screwing with it a lot and burning it up the day before. Had a spare clutch kit, the friction disk didn't fit, wrong number of splines. Threw in the pressure plate and new slave cylinder and buttoned it up. Had a guy go out, he came back in in 2 laps saying that hot water was hitting his feet... Turns out the heater core hoses came off the firewall leaking all of the coolant. Looks like a headgasket problem or a warped head. We'll see what needs to be done.
